This ozonation plant is specifically designed to treat water in water lines, allowing for the injection and maintenance of a precise, homogeneous, and constant amount of ozone automatically. The plant is fully equipped for autonomous operation; it simply needs to be connected to a power source and the water line requiring treatment.

The system features a high-performance industrial ozone generator paired with an oxygen concentrator operating at a concentration of 148g/Nm3. This setup ensures high efficiency in diluting and oxidizing pollutants. An accelerator pump facilitates the injection of ozone into the water across a broad range of pressures. Additionally, the plant is equipped with a PLC that provides advanced control through automatic power self-adjustment, maintaining a consistent ozone level as desired.

What are the applications?

This system is designed to dose ozone into a pressurized water pipe, ensuring a constant concentration of ozone. It is primarily used for disinfecting and purifying both water and pipes. The system is widely utilized in agricultural water treatment for both drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, as well as in the treatment of drinking water, wastewater, process water, cooling towers, swimming pools, and aquariums. Ozone is an effective disinfectant that helps maintain hygiene in both the water and the piping systems.

How it Operates

The HIDRO VT ozone plant features a touch screen interface that allows for easy and intuitive programming of various treatments throughout the day using a recipe planner. Upon receiving a start command, the refrigeration circuit is activated, and the compressor begins to draw air from the atmosphere. The air undergoes filtration and drying before entering the PSA, where nitrogen is removed and oxygen is concentrated to 95% purity. This oxygen is then directed to the generation core where corona discharge transforms it into ozone.

An oxygen flow meter enables the regulation of the desired ozone flow. The ozone is then routed to a venturi where it is injected into the water of the customer’s line. In the tank, the ozone is homogenized, allowing sufficient contact time for it to react, effectively disinfecting and purifying the water.
